A cargo truck struck eight vehicles on Friday, June 12, on the México-Toluca Highway at kilometer 15 in Santa Fe.
The incident occurred in the Santa Fe area, in the Cuajimalpa borough of Mexico City. The truck was transporting construction material and struck several cars that in turn hit the containment wall.
The Heroic Fire Department of Mexico City responded to the scene. They reported that one person was injured and was directed to receive medical attention.
The SUUMA Voluntarios team indicated they are attending to several injured people. The exact number of wounded remains unknown so far.
