Netflix will release the finale film for its popular series Heartstopper, titled Heartstopper Forever, on Friday, July 17. The movie follows Nick and Charlie as they face challenges in their relationship amid university and growing independence. The cast includes returning stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke.
Heartstopper Forever centers on Nick, played by Kit Connor, and Charlie, played by Joe Locke, who remain close despite upcoming changes. As Nick prepares for university and Charlie gains independence at school, their long-distance relationship faces its toughest test yet. The official description notes that doubts emerge while their friends deal with love, friendship, and the pains of growing up, posing the question of whether first loves endure forever. Returning cast members include William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Rhea Norwood, and Leila Khan. Alice Oseman, the series creator, wrote the film, with Wash Westmoreland directing. Westmoreland previously helmed Still Alice. Netflix accompanied the announcement with a video compilation featuring the cast across seasons.
