The design pays tribute to Jackie Robinson, who broke Major League Baseball's color barrier in 1947. Available through Nike starting April 15, the shoe carries an MSRP of $100 USD. The sneaker sports a black mesh upper and synthetic leather overlays. Medium Ash highlights the profile Swoosh logos, with a diamond-shaped Jackie logo at the heel and his number 42 on the tongue. A Pale Ivory foam midsole provides a retro aged look, paired with lightweight comfort from a plush collar lining. The speckled rubber outsole offers traction and evokes a baseball diamond. This release continues Nike's annual tradition saluting the Brooklyn Dodgers icon through a subdued, intentional aesthetic.
