Nike reveals Air Force 1 Low 'Shoe Dog' tribute sneaker

Nike is preparing to release a special edition of the Air Force 1 Low ’01 that honors the brand’s early history and co-founder Phil Knight’s memoir.

The sneaker, named the Air Force 1 Low ’01 “Shoe Dog,” draws from the founding period of Blue Ribbon Sports. It features a sail and white leather upper paired with a slimmed-down red Swoosh modeled after the original 1971 design.

Additional details include a pre-yellowed midsole, an exposed foam tongue, and accents in royal blue and varsity red on the heel tab and tongue labels. The colorway is listed as Silver/Green/White with SKU IX8503-100.

Nike has scheduled the release for spring or summer 2027. Pricing remains to be determined, and the shoes will be sold through the brand’s own channels.
