A 65-year-old North Carolina woman was arrested on suspicion of killing her stepdaughter, who disappeared more than a decade ago.
Connie Graham was taken into custody on Thursday in Robeson County in connection with the presumed death of 18-year-old Sara Graham. Sara was last seen on February 4, 2015, when she left the family home in Fairmont in a white van to drive to her job at Walmart. The van was later found abandoned in a field.
Sara Graham was declared legally dead on June 1, though her body has not been recovered. Connie Graham's two sons, 42-year-old Bobby Matthew McLellan and 29-year-old Luke Locklear, were also arrested and face charges including conspiracy and altering or destroying evidence.
Connie Graham appeared in court on Thursday and remains held without bond. McLellan and Locklear are being held on one million dollar bonds each. All three are scheduled to return to court on July 2.
The FBI is offering a five thousand dollar reward for information that leads to the location of Sara Graham's body.
