An old video in which Ruben Onsu praised Sarwendah's frugal habits has gone viral again amid the ongoing dispute over monthly child support of Rp200 million.
The clip shows Ruben Onsu describing Sarwendah's money habits during their marriage. He said she was not demanding.
"I am very lucky. Because I got a wife who does not want much," Ruben said, as quoted from a TikTok post by @haludrama2 on Saturday, 20 June 2026.
Ruben added that Sarwendah preferred saving money over buying branded items. He said he had to persuade her if he wanted to buy her luxury goods.
"So, when Wenda is taken to a place with branded goods she is not happy, she thinks the money is better saved," he said.
