For the tenth time the art exhibition Open Art has been inaugurated in Örebro. Forty works are now placed in the city centre, some interactive.

The inauguration took place on Saturday in light drizzle. Culture journalist Ika Johannesson interviewed organisers, politicians and artists.

The exhibition is half the usual size due to unchanged grants despite rising costs. Visitor Mathilde Arpino said: I have waited for Open Art. Pity it is not every year.

Open Art has been arranged every other year in Örebro since 2008. This year there are also artist nodes in other parts of the county.
