Key player Haylee Nelson was brought in as a replacement for the injured Paulina Lindberg. She arrived in Sweden on New Year's Eve and managed four matches in just 18 days, with the last being the final loss. After the match, Nelson expressed disappointment: “Leaving here with silver is not what we wanted to do.”
The tournament, lasting less than three weeks, highlighted Örebro's fighting spirit despite short preparations for the new player. Linköping claimed the gold, ending Örebro's bid with silver. The event took place in Uppsala, a central hub for Swedish volleyball.
