Olivier Rousteing has been appointed creative director of Rabanne. The Puig-owned house made the announcement on Tuesday.
The former Balmain creative director succeeds Julien Dossena, who left the brand after 13 years. Rousteing will stage his first show for Rabanne at Paris Fashion Week in March for the Fall/Winter 2027 season.
“Joining Rabanne is a tremendous honor,” Rousteing said in a statement. He praised the house’s spirit of innovation and recognized Dossena’s “remarkable creative legacy.”
Ana Trias, president of prestige and fashion brands at Puig, called Rousteing’s vision “bold, magnetic, and deeply connected to the energy of today.” The appointment came on Bastille Day.
