Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, the third entry in Asobo's historical action-adventure series, will release on August 27 for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The game serves as a prequel focused on the character Sophia before the events of A Plague Tale: Requiem. It was first revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase in 2025, with a new trailer now confirming the release window. A trailer description states: 'Face deadly trials, navigate treacherous paths and uncover what was never meant to be revealed.' Asobo previously developed A Plague Tale: Requiem, which received a four-star review from Eurogamer in 2022 for its story set in 14th century France.
