The UT Dallas Comet Chess Team earned acclaim for securing the title in the inaugural National Collegiate Women’s Chess Championship. The team outperformed competitors by finishing 4.5 points ahead of the second-place finisher and capturing three of the top four individual positions. This victory underscores the team's dominance in the competition.
Similarly, the UT Dallas MBA Team, representing the Naveen Jindal School of Management, was celebrated for its first-place finish at the 2025 MBA Case Competition World Cup Finals. The team faced off against representatives from 237 universities worldwide, including prominent institutions such as Yale, Carnegie Mellon, HEC Paris, UNC-Chapel Hill, and the University of Cambridge. Advancing through the rounds to reach the final five, the team ultimately claimed the championship.
