Rick Ross announces 'Set in Stone' album release date

Rapper Rick Ross revealed on June 11 that his new album Set in Stone will arrive on July 17 via Gamma. The project marks his first full-length release in five years.

The Miami-based artist shared the news ahead of a busy stretch that includes a new single. "Mahogany Caskets" featuring T.I. is scheduled to drop on June 12. An earlier track, "Minks in Miami" with French Montana and Max B, already launched the rollout.

Set in Stone follows 2021's Richer Than I Ever Been. Ross is currently touring in support of his debut album Port of Miami, which turned 20 this year. The North American run continues with a June 12 stop in Atlanta.

"Port of Miami was the foundation of an empire, the blueprint to the biggest boss," Ross said in a statement about the tour. "Twenty years later, we aren’t just celebrating an album — we are elevating the culture."
