Shaboozey to debut comic series at San Diego Comic-Con

Grammy-nominated musician Shaboozey will make his first appearance at San Diego Comic-Con International 2026 to launch a new three-issue Western comic series. The project expands the story universe of his upcoming album.

Range Comics is partnering with Shaboozey on the series titled The Outlaw Cherie Lee. The story follows protagonist Cherie Lee, who leaves her badge to pursue the outlaw gang that killed her sheriff father.

The comic was created with Xaivia Inniss and adapted by scriptwriter Robert Jeffrey II. Sean Damien Hill provided illustrations, and Andrew Dalhouse handled the colors.

Shaboozey will sign advance copies of the first issue at the Funko Village booth on July 24. He will then join a panel and podcast recording hosted by Juju Green, where an exclusive trailer narrated by Jamie Foxx will be revealed.

The album is scheduled for release on July 31. The comic will reach stores nationwide on August 18.
