Former Apink member Son Naeun addressed rumors about missing Yoon Bomi's wedding during a July 29 interview in Seoul. She attributed her absence to work commitments while affirming her ongoing support for the group.
Son Naeun, who debuted with Apink in 2011 and left the group in 2022, spoke at a cafe in Seoul on the afternoon of July 29. The interview followed the end of her SBS drama Manager Kim.
She explained that she could not attend Yoon Bomi's May 16 wedding to composer Rado because she was in the final stages of filming. Son Naeun said her feelings toward the group remain unchanged.
"It’s a team that holds precious memories from my teens and twenties," she stated. "Whenever something good happens, I genuinely want to congratulate them and hope everything goes well."
The comments come after speculation arose when Hong Yookyung attended the wedding but Son Naeun did not. She emphasized that she continues to root for Apink's success.
