The annual St. George Island Brewfest, a fundraiser for the Franklin County Humane Society, is set for April 18, 2026, with VIP and early admission tickets already sold out. General admission remains available but is over half sold. A month earlier, the Panacea Craft Beer & Oyster Festival offers a blend of local oysters and beers on March 21, 2026.
The St. George Island Brewfest returns on Saturday, April 18, 2026, marking its ninth annual event since starting in 2016, though the pandemic canceled one year. Organized as a fundraiser for the Franklin County Humane Society, the festival last year raised a record $90,000 and aims to exceed $100,000 this time. Held against a backdrop of palm trees, white sand, and Gulf waves, it features over 40 breweries, cideries, and brands pouring samples.
VIP and early admission tickets, which allow entry from 12 to 4 p.m., sold out months ago, continuing an eight-year streak of complete sell-outs. General admission, from 1 to 4 p.m., is still on sale but more than half gone, with no tickets available at the gate. Live music comes from the Far2Fresh band out of Thomasville, performing for the third consecutive year by popular demand. The humane society will bring adoptable dogs seeking permanent homes. The Tallahassee-based TLH Beer Society plans a booth with exclusive swag giveaways and recommends booking at The Buccaneer Inn, the official hotel offering 10% discounts to its membership cardholders.
Preceding it by about a month, the Panacea Craft Beer & Oyster Festival occurs on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Woolley Park in Wakulla County. This event combines a free oyster showcase from local farmers with a ticketed beer tasting area for those 21 and older, plus a craft market open to all ages. The TLH Beer Society is running a $40 Brew Bus trip, sponsored by Astro Travel, using a 30-passenger vehicle with leather seats, onboard bathroom, sound system, and WiFi. Pickup is at 11 a.m. from Oyster City in Tallahassee, returning at 5 p.m., and spots are nearly full; reservations are via email at TLHBeerSociety@gmail.com.
Danny Aller and Matthew Crumbaker co-founded the TLH Beer Society, which promotes these coastal events through social media and email.
