Pittsburgh Steelers offensive additions this offseason appear to have played a role in convincing quarterback Aaron Rodgers to return for a 22nd NFL season.
Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said the team's moves helped Rodgers finalize his decision after the NFL draft. Dulac noted on The Rich Eisen Show that Rodgers acknowledged the upgrades without directly crediting them for his choice. The quarterback waited until after the draft to re-sign, allowing time to evaluate the roster changes.
