Stephen Curry has commented on speculation linking LeBron James to the Golden State Warriors. The remarks came during the American Century Championship golf tournament. Curry described the idea as alluring but premature to discuss in detail.
Curry noted that pairing with James would create a unique story in NBA history. He said the notion had seemed unrealistic until recent years but now forms part of the team's appeal.
"Up until probably two, three years ago, that was like a pipe-dream question or even a thought," Curry said. He added that any team James contacts would work hard to make a deal happen and stressed Golden State's experience and competitiveness.
James, who is 41, continues to weigh options from several teams including the Warriors, Cavaliers and 76ers. No timetable has been set for his decision.
