Swedish band Clutter announce debut album Sugar Rush

Stockholm punk band Clutter has announced its debut album Sugar Rush, set for release on October 2 via PNKSLM Recordings. The group shared the energetic new single Grease Baby as a preview.

The four-piece band, which appeared on the NME 100 list of essential emerging artists for 2026, follows its 2025 debut EP Clutter Loves You with the new record. Clutter recorded Sugar Rush with producer Ove Jerndal during an intensive session in rural Sweden.

Singer Hilda Alnder described the album as a step toward adulthood while retaining youthful freedom. She said: "Loves You was about growing up, but now we’re learning how to be adults whilst trying to stay true to our inner children. This album is about becoming an adult on your own terms."

The band offered this take on the lead single: "Grease Baby paints a picture of a vacation. Of a never-ending summer and longing for something more, not quite knowing what. It’s a warm and Kraut-like rock song with elements of pop."

The full tracklist includes GirlvsHeart, Everything Suxx, Hello Kitty, Pop Rock Sugar Rush, Robot, Grease Baby, C.L.U.T.T.E.R., I Wish I Could Keep It Together, Fame and Unbothered. A video for Grease Baby was directed by Måns Nyman.
