Tarik Muharemovic completed his move from Sassuolo to Leeds United on Friday (17/7/2026). Indonesia national team captain Jay Idzes reacted immediately on social media.
Muharemovic joined Leeds United to replace Pascal Struijk, who moved to Brighton & Hove Albion. Reports in Italy put the transfer fee at 40 million euros, with Sassuolo and Juventus each receiving 20 million euros due to Juventus’ 50 percent sell-on rights.
Idzes, who formed Sassuolo’s central defensive partnership with Muharemovic last season, reacted immediately on social media. He wrote “All the best my friend” on his Instagram story and “Ayoooo” on Leeds United’s official post.
Italian outlet Il Resto del Carlino reported that Idzes will remain with Sassuolo this season. Idzes is currently Indonesia’s most expensive player with a market value of 14 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
