New first-look photos and plot details highlight the team's journey of taking bold risks.

Jason Sudeikis' return to AFC Richmond in Ted Lasso season 4 now has an official window: a global premiere on Apple TV+ this summer. The series, which broke records upon its debut as the most Emmy-nominated comedy, earned back-to-back outstanding comedy series wins for its first two seasons.

Currently filming, the new season brings back core cast members including Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Emmy winner Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift, alongside Sudeikis, who also executive produces. Fresh additions to the ensemble are Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.

The storyline centers on Ted Lasso tackling his biggest challenge yet: leading a second-division women's football team. As the official synopsis states, “Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”

Behind the scenes, Emmy winner Jack Burditt joins as an executive producer under a new overall deal with Apple TV+, known for his work on series like Nobody Wants This, Modern Family, and 30 Rock. Sudeikis executive produces with Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein contributes as a writer and executive producer with Leanne Bowen, while Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh serve as writers and producers. Sasha Garron co-produces, Julia Lindon writes, and Dylan Marron acts as story editor.

Bill Lawrence executive produces through Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television. Doozer's Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer also executive produce. The series, developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly, and Hunt, draws from the preexisting NBC Sports format and characters.

Apple TV+ has shared additional first-look stills from the production, building anticipation for the return of the beloved series.
