Amber Graham, a 37-year-old woman from Spring Hill, Tennessee, was found dead in Cleveland, Ohio, after traveling to meet a man she encountered while playing Call of Duty online.
Graham left Spring Hill with her 8-year-old daughter on or around June 14 to travel to Cleveland. She returned briefly to Tennessee on June 20, which was the last time her family saw her.
A missing persons report was filed on July 2. The next day, Cleveland police notified Tennessee authorities that Graham's body had been discovered covered by a sheet outside a dilapidated home on Bosworth Road.
Graham's daughter had walked into a nearby firehouse two days earlier and is now in the custody of the Ohio Department of Children and Youth. The cause and manner of her mother's death remain under investigation by police in both states.
Friends said Graham had met the man online and hoped to find companionship. A GoFundMe for the daughter described the family as being in deep shock over the loss.
