Amelia Concours d'Elegance shifts classic car showcase to Saturday for 2026

The Amelia Concours d’Elegance, set for March 5-8, 2026, on Amelia Island, Florida, has moved its traditional Sunday classic car display to Saturday, ending decades of the longstanding schedule, according to a local News-Leader guide.

The Amelia Concours d’Elegance, Northeast Florida's premier classic car event celebrating its 31st year, traditionally held its main showcase on Sundays for decades. For 2026, organizers have shifted the classic car display to Saturday, March 7, as highlighted in Fernandina Beach's News-Leader visitor guide.

The guide states: “If you’ve been paying close attention you’re well aware that our island’s famous Concours d’Elegance has moved from its decades-long Sunday classic car display to Saturday.” This change helps attendees plan visits to the four-day event, which features over 250 historic vehicles, auctions, and more (as covered in prior updates).

No reasons for the shift were detailed, but it adapts the format while preserving the event's appeal to global enthusiasts.
