The Weeknd opened the European portion of his After Hours til Dawn tour with the first of two sold-out concerts at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen on June 19.
The Canadian artist performed a 36-track set that drew heavily from his latest album Hurry Up Tomorrow while spanning his earlier work. Playboi Carti joined him onstage for the tracks Timeless and Rather Lie.
The production featured a 40-foot gold sculpture by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama along with golden ruins, lasers and flames. After Hours til Dawn has become the highest-grossing tour by a male solo artist, grossing more than $1 billion and selling over 7.5 million tickets since it began in 2022.
The tour continues with multi-night runs in Munich, Lille, Paris and other European cities before five shows at Wembley Stadium in August. A portion of ticket sales supports education and food relief through Global Citizen.
