Nearly a million people joined the LGTBI Pride march in Madrid on July 4, 2026, under the slogan '¡A las calles con orgullo! Disidencia y resistencia'. The procession went from Glorieta de Atocha to Plaza de Colón amid festive and reivindicative tones despite intense heat.
The march, called by Federación Estatal LGTBI+ and COGAM, began after 19.00 hours. Paula Iglesias and Ronny de la Cruz led the front banner alongside ministers Ana Redondo and Mónica García.
Attendees carried rainbow flags and banners while criticizing setbacks in rights and calling for a State Pact against hate speech. Ronny de la Cruz stated that rights are not set in stone.
A manifesto read upon arrival at Plaza de Colón denounced a global reactionary offensive. Participants from several countries highlighted the freedom they found in Spain.
