MANILA, Philippines — Part three of the Trillion Peso March was announced during a press conference on February 11 for February 25, 2026, coinciding with the People Power Revolution anniversary. It is led by Caritas Philippines, the social action arm of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, alongside the Trillion Peso March Movement and other civil society organizations.
Kiko Aquino-Dee, co-convenor of the "Buhayin ang People Power Movement," stated there will be preparatory activities from February 22 to 23. On February 25, events will start at 7 a.m. at multiple points along EDSA, including a Mass presided over by Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas, a protégé of the late Cardinal Jaime Sin.
Regarding calls for the resignation of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte amid recent impeachment filings, Aquino-Dee clarified that seeking resignations is not part of their official platform, though they respect citizens' rights. "We want to be clear that we don't think those calls are against the Constitution it is the right of every citizen to call whatever call they officially want to make such resignations and those who are responsible," he said. He added they distance themselves from actions outside the 1987 Constitution, such as revolutionary government or violence.
Tito Caluag, executive director of Caritas Philippines, emphasized the Church's support for the rule of law and respect for the Constitution. "Tandaan natin na mahalagang panawagan ang pag-amin ng mga may-sala. At pagbabalik ng perang ninakaw, at hustisya na may karampatang parusa. Doon mangyayari ang paghihilom," he said, translating to: Let's keep in mind that it is vital to call for the admission of guilt from the offenders. The return of stolen wealth and justice—coupled with appropriate punishment—is essential. Only then can true healing begin.
The first Trillion Peso March occurred on September 21, 2025, as a protest against corruption. The second was on November 30, 2025, coinciding with Bonifacio Day.
