du, a major UAE telecom operator, formally launched its Cloud Miner service on November 2, 2025. This Cloud Mining as a Service (MaaS) initiative enables UAE residents to rent computational power on a subscription basis, leveraging du's extensive data centers and ICT infrastructure. Exclusively available to local residents, the service seeks to pioneer sustainable crypto innovation and provide a reliable entry into the blockchain ecosystem.
The platform simplifies traditional mining processes, allowing users to access mining benefits, such as potential Bitcoin rewards, without managing hardware, maintenance, or high electricity costs. Operations can start immediately after subscription, with customers able to bid on capacity through an Internet auction from November 3 to 9. This transparent bidding process democratizes access to crypto mining.
