Jamestown, N.D. - The University of Jamestown men's basketball team is excited to welcome Reggie Parker and Colton Reinke to its roster for the 2026-2027 season. Both prospects signed their letters of intent, making their commitments official.

Reggie Parker Profile

Reggie Parker, a 6'7 forward from Rochester Mayo High School in Rochester, Minnesota, averaged 12.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game last season while shooting 49% from the field. He led his team to AAAA Breakout Team of the Year honors in 2024-25, increasing their wins from 13 to 19 between his sophomore and junior years. Parker earned Prep Hoops All-State Team (17U) recognition, Big Nine All-Conference Honorable Mention, and was named a Top 30 Player in Minnesota. On the AAU circuit with Minnesota Lace Up, he stood out at the NHR State Tournament and Comets Shootout.

"I chose UJ because of the people. They make you feel accepted and comfortable and serve as a family away from home," Parker said. "When I first met Coach Bruggeman and Coach Dak, I could tell immediately that their personalities were genuine and that they truly care about other people excelling in basketball and later on in life."

Coach Bruggeman added, "Reggie is an imposing physical force on both ends of the floor that impacts winning in a variety of ways. What stood out most during the recruiting process was his positive personality, desire to grow, and his performance against some of the best competition in the region during this past AAU season."

Parker plans to major in Exercise Science or Health & Fitness Administration.

Colton Reinke Profile

Colton Reinke, a 6'6 wing from Fargo Davies High School in Fargo, North Dakota, averaged 10.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game last season, shooting 42.6% from the field. Davies reached the Class AA State Tournament both years, finishing as 2025 State Runner-Up and 2024 State Semi-Finalists. Reinke was named to the 2025 Class AA All-State Tournament Team and recognized as a 2026 Stock Riser by Prep Hoops on the AAU circuit with ND Phenom.

"I chose UJ because from the start, Coach Bruggeman and Coach Dak showed how strong the family culture is," Reinke said. "The players were welcoming and made it feel like home, and the coaches have a clear vision to help me grow into the best version of myself both on and off the court."

Bruggeman commented, "Colton is a high-IQ player who is efficient on both ends of the floor and one of the best rebounding wings in the state of North Dakota.
