The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for cold conditions expected to continue across the Free State province in the coming days.
Forecaster Tshifhiwa Mathivha from the South African Weather Service office in Bloemfontein said a cold front would reach the south-western parts of the country on Sunday, bringing strong winds.
The front is forecast to produce damaging winds over most of the Free State except the north-western areas, with isolated showers and thundershowers possible only in the southern parts.
Mathivha added that mainly cold to cool temperatures are expected from Sunday through Wednesday, with no further rainfall anticipated until Friday.
