Isabelle Johnson, 38, faces a murder charge in the death of 43-year-old Jason Christopher Coulthart in Florida's Panhandle. Authorities say she is on the run and using multiple aliases. Five people have been arrested for allegedly assisting her.
Coulthart was last seen on May 24 leaving the College Condominiums in Niceville. His body was recovered on June 25 from a property off Sunset Lane in Freeport and identified as his on Thursday.
The Walton County Sheriff's Office obtained an arrest warrant for Johnson after the remains were found. Officials believe she is actively evading law enforcement and using aliases including Harley, Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush and Jessica Dowdy.
Five individuals were arrested on charges including accessory to a capital felony after the fact and obstruction. Michael Ray White, 74, and Kathleen Morris, 59, of Santa Rosa Beach, along with Martin Leaverton and Sandra Leaverton, are among those charged.
Walton County Sheriff Michael Adkinson said anyone assisting Johnson will face consequences. Johnson is considered dangerous, and the public is asked to contact the sheriff's office or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers with information.
