DAY6 member Young K has shattered his own first-week sales record just two days after releasing his second solo album.
On July 27, Young K returned with the full-length album "YOUNGEST" and its title track "Shut The Door." The project sold 52,698 copies on its first day, surpassing the previous record of 40,189 copies set by his 2023 album "Letters with notes."
By the end of July 28 KST, Hanteo Chart data showed cumulative sales reaching 106,461 copies. This figure more than doubles Young K’s prior first-week benchmark within only two days.
The rest of the tracking week remains open through August 2, leaving room for further growth. Fans are celebrating the strong start as reported by the chart.
