Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim Díaz, known as Gaspi, died Sunday along with five others in an aerial accident in Rio de Janeiro. Two helicopters collided and crashed onto an electric car dealership.
The collision occurred around 9 a.m. local time in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood. One aircraft carried five people and the other only the pilot. There were no survivors.
Identified victims include U.S. singer Oliver Tree, Argentine director Lucas Vignale, Brazilian producer Lucas Brito Chaves and pilots Alexandre Souza and Charles Marsillac. Authorities are investigating the causes.
Streaming figures such as Ibai Llanos and Coscu expressed sorrow on social media. "What an absolute tragedy," wrote Llanos.
