Ricardo Monreal announced that the judicial reform could be declared constitutional next week after approval by state congresses.
Morena deputy and San Lázaro coordinator Ricardo Monreal stated on Friday that state congresses will ratify the changes to the judicial reform and electoral law within one or two days.
Monreal explained that the Permanent Commission of Congress will issue the constitutionality declaration next Monday, since the chambers will not meet the following week.
The reforms, which amend ten constitutional articles and establish nullity of elections due to foreign interference, will be published in the Official Gazette of the Federation to take effect the next day.
The legislator noted that the judicial reform is the second faced by the Judicial Power after the June 2025 elections.
