Boza was appointed Panama’s official musical ambassador for the 2026 World Cup on June 1 in partnership with FEPAFUT. The Panamanian artist, born Humberto Ceballos Boza, will join the national team for pregame events, matches, postgame celebrations and fan activities. He is scheduled to accompany the squad during its group-stage matches from June 15 to 28.
Boza described the role as a tremendous honor in a press release. “Representing Panama through music and being able to accompany the National Team during such an important moment is something I carry with immense pride,” he said. “Soccer and music have something in common: they unite the country, make us feel like one voice, and remind us where we come from.” The appointment places Boza alongside the team during a key period in the country’s sports history. He will take part in activities tied to Panama’s World Cup participation. The selection was announced earlier this month and highlights the intersection of music and national sports representation.
