Discord a finalisé le déploiement du chiffrement de bout en bout pour les appels vocaux et vidéo sur sa plateforme. Cette fonctionnalité couvre désormais tous les appels, à l'exception de ceux effectués dans les salons de scène, et ne nécessite aucune action de la part de l'utilisateur.

La plateforme sociale a décrit ce changement comme l'aboutissement d'un projet de plusieurs années visant à mieux sécuriser les conversations personnelles. Selon l'annonce de l'entreprise, les appels sur Discord sont désormais véritablement privés.
