Cristina Kirchner files complaint with Supreme Court to halt asset seizure

Former President Cristina Kirchner filed a complaint with the Supreme Court to prevent the seizure of 19 properties belonging to her children Máximo and Florencia Kirchner.

The former president used this legal tool as her last available option. The goal is to stop the seizure of properties inherited by her children from Néstor Kirchner. The complaint was filed on June 8 2026 according to reports from that day. It directly targets halting the seizure ordered in prior instances. The assets in question include 19 properties linked to the late former president's estate.
