Discord adds end-to-end encryption to all calls

Discord has completed its rollout of end-to-end encryption for voice and video calls on the platform. The feature now covers all calls except those in stage channels and requires no user opt-in.

The social platform described the change as the end of a years-long project to make personal conversations more secure. Calls on Discord are now truly private, according to the company announcement.
