The Stormers suffered a 28-27 defeat to Toulon in the round of 16 of the European Champions Cup at Stade Felix Mayol in southern France. Toulon capitalized better on opportunities, scoring four tries to the Stormers' three. A late lunge for the line by Marcel Theunissen was ruled inconclusive.
