President-elect Abelardo De la Espriella gathered his government team on July 18 to review the roadmap before taking office on August 7.
Abelardo De la Espriella led a Ministers Council with the appointees to prepare the start of his administration. The meeting served to define priorities and strengthen coordination among ministries during the first months.
The president-elect showed his cabinet gathered together for the first time. So far he has confirmed 15 of 18 ministries, including Rodrigo Lara at Interior and Miguel Gómez at Hacienda.
The heads of Science, Labor and Health remain pending and must be women under the Quotas Law. De la Espriella called for defined goals and a sense of urgency in joint work.
