Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and Delfina Gómez Álvarez led the morning conference from the C5 facilities in Toluca on July 22, 2026. They were joined by the Security Cabinet, including Omar García Harfuch and Marcela Figueroa Franco.
Delfina Gómez presented the robots Ceci and K7, which use artificial intelligence for video surveillance, facial recognition and 911 response. The governor said these tools optimize the emergency response model.
Marcela Figueroa reported that intentional homicides in the State of Mexico fell 58 percent between September 2024 and June 30, 2026, the lowest figure in 19 years. High-impact crimes also dropped 40 percent.
