The Colby College track and field teams competed at the Lynn Ruddy Invitational hosted by Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Both the women's and men's squads delivered balanced performances across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and multi-events. Highlights included multiple podium finishes in field events and distance races.
At the Lynn Ruddy Invitational, the Colby College women's track and field team showed strength in sprints and hurdles. Ellie Wang finished fifth in the 60 meters with a time of 8.11 seconds and third in the 200 meters at 27.24 seconds. Josie Hopkins contributed points by placing eighth in the 200 meters (28.34 seconds) and third in the 60-meter hurdles (9.68 seconds). In the mid-distance, Quinn Cushing took fourth and Caroline Kvaal sixth in the 800 meters. Jordan Roskiewicz earned third place in the pentathlon with 2,721 points. Field events featured Gabriella Bresnick in fourth in the pole vault, Ariel Estime in sixth for both long jump and triple jump, and Hopkins eighth in the triple jump.
The men's team excelled particularly in field events and the heptathlon. Logan Sullivan won the high jump by clearing 1.87 meters. Lexington Lehnert claimed the pole vault title at 4.60 meters, with Logan Lehnert second and Wyatt Patterson fourth. Ernest Obiorah placed fourth in the shot put. In the heptathlon, Jake Hall secured the overall victory with 3,776 points, leading a sweep of the top three spots alongside Milan Joshi in second and Alex Lyon in third.
These results highlight the Mules' depth across disciplines at the meet hosted in Brunswick, Maine.
