DraftKings has partnered with Crypto.com to broaden its prediction markets offerings, introducing the first player-specific sports event contracts for the NFL and NBA. This collaboration enhances access to various sports predictions and lays groundwork for future categories like politics and entertainment. The expansion is available in select U.S. states through the DraftKings Predictions app.
Sports betting company DraftKings Inc. (NASDAQ:DKNG) announced on February 7, 2026, an agreement with Crypto.com's CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange, Crypto.com | Derivatives North America. This deal expands the prediction markets on the DraftKings Predictions app, which DraftKings recently launched to enter the arena.
The partnership introduces the platform's first player-specific sports event contracts for both the NFL and NBA. It also adds a wider range of sports markets, including soccer, MMA, golf, boxing, tennis, and the Olympic Games. These complement the existing sports and financial markets provided by CME Group.
Jeanine Hightower-Sellitto, Senior Vice President and General Manager of DraftKings Predictions, stated: “We’re continuing to build momentum behind DraftKings Predictions by leveraging our expertise across sports and technology and integrating additional CFTC-regulated exchanges like Crypto.com. This collaboration meaningfully expands customer access to trade on sports and a broader range of prediction markets and also reinforces our focus on delivering a more comprehensive and engaging experience as the product continues to evolve.”
Crypto.com will support the introduction of new event contract categories, such as culture, entertainment, and politics. In the coming months, DraftKings Predictions will integrate Railbird Exchange to further strengthen its offerings.
Travis McGhee, Global Head of Predictions at Crypto.com, commented: “Crypto.com continues to lead the way with innovative collaboration. Connecting with DraftKings, a household name in sports, is an important milestone for us because it allows us not only to expand access to prediction markets in sports, but it grows our distribution to prediction markets on cryptocurrencies, financials, companies, politics, culture, entertainment and beyond. We are thrilled to work with DraftKings, and we look forward to creating an engaging experience together for customers across the country.”
Eligible customers in states including California, Florida, Georgia, and Texas can access these federally regulated event contracts via the standalone app or predictions.draftkings.com. The platform incorporates DraftKings' Responsible Trading program with built-in tools and resources.
