أعلن وزير الزراعة علاء فاروق عن حزمة إجراءات لمعالجة تحديات قطاع الثروة الحيوانية والداجنة خلال مؤتمر دولي.
تحدث الوزير في المؤتمر الدولي الأول للتنمية المستدامة للثروة الحيوانية والداجنة والسمكية الذي نظمه مركز البحوث الزراعية بالتعاون مع نقابة الأطباء البيطريين.
تشمل الإجراءات توسيع إنتاج محاصيل الأعلاف ودعم بدائل الأعلاف غير التقليدية وتشجيع التصنيع المحلي وتقديم تمويل ميسر.
أشار فاروق إلى أن تمويل مشروع النهوض بالعجول الوطني تجاوز 11.2 مليار جنيه واستفاد منه أكثر من 46 ألف مربي.
