The Festival Noche de Primavera 2026, organized by the Government of Mexico City, will offer free performances over the weekend of March 21 and 22 to mark the arrival of spring. The activities will be distributed across various venues in the capital, from the Historic Center to the eastern part of the city.
On Saturday, March 21, the Zócalo of CDMX will host the 4th Gran Baile de Sonideros y Sonideras, a continuous 12-hour event from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., featuring 13 sonideros. At the Monumento a la Revolución, Spanish rock will be represented by Cecilia Toussaint, Guillermo Briseño, Kerigma, Los Lobos from the United States, and Meme del Real from Café Tacvba. Other stages include the Monumento a Beethoven with alternative artists such as Bella Litsa from the United States, Black Panthera from Brazil, and La Tremenda Korte; the Kiosco de la Alameda with Latin rhythms by Amandititita, China Sonidera, and Pablito Mix; and Plaza Manuel Tolsá with electronic music from Fat Hamster & Kang New from South Korea and Sickick from Canada. Additionally, the Balcón del Museo del Estanquillo will feature poetry and opera, while La Cañada en Los Dinamos will host a house and techno rave from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the next day, with participants like Bluecommand and Mari Sakurai from Japan.
For Sunday, March 22, venues include Alameda Sur in Coyoacán, Deportivo El Cacalote in Cuajimalpa, FARO Tláhuac, and other spaces such as Foro Alfonso Reyes in Chapultepec and Jardín Santiago de Tlatelolco. Confirmed artists are Antiánima, Celso Duarte, Cemican, Chechi de Marcos, Cinthya Morado, Electrify, F-MACK, Fat Hamster & Kang New, Francisco Lelo de Larrea, Jeanette Macari, Jorjais, Laboratorios Moreno, Luisa Almaguer, Mad Warriors, Mirror Revelations, Olivia García, Ra La Culebra, Rockotitlán Chilli Stars, She No More, Xiuhtezcatl, and Yorka. The government advises checking the official lineup for any changes in schedules or performances.
This festival continues the tradition of concerts in the Zócalo and other points in the capital, following previous events like Shakira's.
