The No. 9 Texas Longhorns captured the team title with a 54-hole total of 2-over par, their first win since the Betsy Rawls Invitational last season. They maintained momentum from an opening round lead, closing with a 3-over 287 to finish two shots ahead of second-place Florida State.
Farah O'Keefe led Texas to victory, earning her second individual championship at the event and third career win overall. She carded rounds of 64-70-72 for 7-under 206, one stroke better than Florida State's Elin Pudas Remler. O'Keefe set a tournament record with her opening 64 (-7) and added five birdies in the final round despite a 1-over 72. She has now recorded top-10 finishes in all seven of her starts this season, including five top-fives.
Teammate Lauren Kim finished seventh at 1-under par (68-71-73), her 13th career top-10. Cindy Hsu birdied the 18th with a long putt to help seal the team win, shooting 2-under 69 in the final round for T18 at +3 overall. Selina Liao and Angela Heo rounded out the scoring at T37 (+7) and T68 (+14), respectively.
Texas head coach Laura Ianello praised the performance: "It was a fantastic performance by the women this week in Hilton Head, South Carolina. This was a very strong tournament field with a lot of top teams and it was great to see the Longhorns come out on top. We had great momentum from our first round and never really lost the lead."
The No. 15 Ole Miss Rebels also concluded play in the event, though specific team placement was not detailed. No. 5 Auburn Tigers fired a strong final-round 5-under 279 to finish fifth at +14 (866). Anna Davis led Auburn with a 4-under 67 in the closing round, tying for 15th at +2 overall, while Charlotte Cantonis also tied for 15th.
Texas returns to host the Betsy Rawls Invitational on March 16-17 at the UT Golf Club.
