Spain's UCO has sent a new report to the National Court implicating Juan Manuel Serrano in operations linked to Leire Díez.
The document requests judicial authorization to analyze Serrano's phone and those of four other people. Investigators highlight his close relationship with Díez and his role in placing her in positions at Correos.
The UCO describes messages between them about the need to help Pedro Sánchez during his reflection period in April 2024. Serrano was president of Correos until 2023 and chief of staff of the PSOE between 2014 and 2018.
The report also mentions Serrano's interactions with meetings in Ferraz and efforts to modify job profiles at the public company. Judge Pedraz has requested a report from the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office before deciding on access to the devices.
