Mangusta sells third Oceano 52 superyacht

Italian yacht builder Mangusta has sold its third Oceano 52 model, a 170-foot vessel designed for enhanced indoor-outdoor living. The superyacht features a customizable layout with a private owner's terrace including an infinity pool. Delivery is planned for the end of 2028.

Mangusta, under its parent company Overmarine, collaborated with designer Alberto Mancini to create the Oceano 52, emphasizing space and relaxation beyond what is typical for vessels of its size. This latest sale marks the third unit of the 170-foot steel-and-aluminum superyacht, purchased by European clients who were previous Mangusta owners.

The customizable design allowed the new owners to configure two guest cabins at the bow, expanding the owner's suite with floor-to-ceiling windows providing 180-degree sea views and a private terrace equipped with an infinity pool. Additional accommodations include three cabins on the lower deck, one being a full-beam VIP cabin. Exterior features comprise clean lines and a spacious rear beach club.

In contrast, the first Oceano 52, sold in October 2025, incorporated a fitness area on the main deck and two VIP cabins, with one serving as an office, while retaining the owner's private terrace and pool. The yard's sales manager, Ivan Adzic, highlighted the model's appeal in a statement: "The sale of three Mangusta Oceano 52 units in rapid succession attests to the incredible appeal of an innovative project capable of going beyond the traditional boundaries of the segment below 500 GT. This is a yacht that offers owners lifestyle, volumes, and contents normally found on much larger vessels. This unit was purchased by European owners that were already Mangusta clients, and this makes us particularly proud. Their first experience with a smaller yacht from our range persuaded them to remain part of the Mangusta family."

The superyacht is set for delivery at the end of 2028 and will operate as a private vessel in the Mediterranean Sea. Recently, Mangusta also introduced the GranSport 38, a 124-foot model with an asymmetric deck design, an infinity pool at the bow, and a two-level beach club.
