New images unveiled for £4m Nottingham padel complex

Nottingham-based developer ALB Group has revealed new images of a proposed £4m padel and leisure development on Electric Avenue. The project, branded Swing, will feature a purpose-built padel centre alongside workspace, wellness facilities, and food and drink areas. It aims to create over 40 jobs and sits next to the developer's Riverleen House residential project.

Plans for the Swing development have been submitted by ALB Group, highlighting a multi-purpose venue on Electric Avenue in Nottingham. The facility will include dedicated spaces for padel, a sport combining elements of tennis and squash, integrated with modern workspace options, wellness amenities, and dining outlets.

The initiative builds on ALB Group's ongoing Riverleen House residential scheme in the area, aiming to enhance local leisure and economic opportunities. According to the developer, the project could generate more than 40 jobs upon completion.

New visualisations provide a first look at the design, emphasising the complex's role in promoting active lifestyles and community engagement through padel. The proposals underscore Nottingham's growing interest in emerging sports facilities amid urban regeneration efforts.
