Samford University's men's and women's teams will participate, with key athletes including Bryce Davis, Bradley Franklin, Libby Jackson, Jaggerd Moore, Dorsey Parker, and Ethan Womack. The Bulldogs are preparing for this weekend's competition after recent events.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's women's team is also traveling to the championships. Earlier in the season, Chattanooga athletes competed at the Bulldog Invite and Music City Challenge on February 13, and Carden was named SoCon Field Athlete of the Week on February 11 after breaking a two-decade-old program record on February 6.
East Tennessee State University (ETSU) women's track and field team arrives after a winter disrupted by weather and injuries. Notable ETSU competitors include Sophie Beach, Micailah Cook, Camryn Johnson, Meg Lance, Tyla Nicholson, Sophia Edwards, Patty Kilkelly, and Maddie Winchester. The team views this as the most important meet of the season.
