The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field All-Region teams on March 11, recognizing top performers from various divisions. University of Hartford athletes dominated the Division III Mideast region with five women and seven men earning honors. In Division II, Minnesota State University had 18 men selected, while Winona State University saw two women recognized.
The announcement, made from New Orleans, Louisiana, highlights the top eight individuals in each event from regional descending order lists, along with members of the top eight relay teams. Regions align with those used in cross country: East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West.
For NCAA Division III, the University of Hartford women's team placed five athletes on the Mideast All-Region team. Sophomore Tamara Greene (Hartford, Conn.) was honored in the 60-meter hurdles. Junior Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, Conn.) earned recognition in high jump and pentathlon. Freshman Emily Breau (Meriden, Conn.) was selected for pentathlon. Seniors Destinee Majett (Brick Township, N.J.) and Madison DiPasquale (Wallingford, Conn.) both made the list in weight throw, with DiPasquale also in shot put.
On the men's side, seven Hartford Hawks were named to the Mideast team. Freshman Jason Edmund (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and graduate student Kaden Leonard (Webster, N.Y.) were recognized in the 60-meter. Juniors Chris Hergott (Hamden, Conn.) and freshman Julius Lowe-Wannamaker (Springfield, Mass.) earned spots in long jump. Sophomore Aidan Lybarger (South Burlington, Vt.) was honored in shot put and weight throw, junior William Pavlinsky (New Milford, Conn.) in shot put, and junior Thomas Yonkers (Farmington, Conn.) in pole vault.
In NCAA Division II, Minnesota State University-Mankato announced that 18 Mavericks were named All-Region for the men's indoor season. Winona State University celebrated two women's honorees: Ella Schueler and Sophia Taarud, who earned All-Region status.
These selections reflect strong regional performances leading into national championships.
