Blackpink and Disney launch punk-inspired collection with Complex

Global K-pop group Blackpink has collaborated with Disney and Complex on a new punk-inspired apparel collection featuring reimagined Mickey and Minnie Mouse designs. The capsule, designed by Disney's Global Creative Director Bobby Kim, draws from 1970s retro-punk fashion and includes items like T-shirts, hoodies, and accessories. It launches exclusively online on March 5, 2026, at 9 a.m. PST, with each purchase including a collectible photocard of one of the group members.

The announcement of the Blackpink x Disney x Complex collection comes shortly after Blackpink's release of their new mini album DEADLINE and their record-breaking world tour. This partnership highlights the group's edgy style and global appeal, aligning with Disney's expansive collaborations across brands like Gap, Zara, and Gucci.

The collection reimagines classic Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse silhouettes in a rebellious, grungy 1970s punk rock aesthetic. Bobby Kim, Disney's Global Creative Director, led the character designs, blending retro-punk elements with streetwear influences. Items include three essential T-shirts and a hoodie featuring Mickey in pink on white, pink, and charcoal bases; a baby tee with Minnie in pink and charcoal accents; black tote bags and a charcoal cap with the character designs; long-sleeved pieces, tops, tanks, and a plaid blazer.

"This punk-inspired collection is all about expressing your individuality and challenging the status quo with confidence," Kim said. He added, "As a global pop-culture phenomenon, Blackpink’s fearless creativity and boundary-breaking style are at the heart of this capsule, making them the ideal creative force to kick off a high-impact series of collections with Complex."

Fans purchasing from the collection will receive a collectible photocard featuring Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, or Lisa, adding a personal touch to the merchandise. The drop is the first in a planned two-year creative synergy between Disney and Complex, transforming iconic characters into expressive designs that emphasize confidence and individuality. It will be available exclusively on Complex.com/Shop starting Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 9 a.m. PST (12 p.m. EST).
